BNI, Business Networking International is an international business organization. It was founded 1987 by Ivan Misner in order to pass referrals to other members in the organization. It is now the largest networking group in the world with over 7,000 chapters . Every chapter has a number of business owners with only one occupation per category allowed as a member in that chapter. The members get together on a weekly basis and refer business to one another. The members also interact with tips and strategies to develop business.
The BNI Givers Gain Award awarded to Xavier Cimetta, Vice President of Cimetta Design Inc. recently for the South Florida membership area. Xavier is a member of the Legacy Chapter which meets every Thursday morning at the Weston Hills Country Club in Weston. The award is given to members who give of themselves to help others in the chapter pass referrals and volunteer to help out where ever it is need. Xavier is under the Graphic Design and Web Design category of the group. He assists by helping members with their graphic presentations and giving support where needed to the group.
